India extends financial assistance of NRs 41.36 million for construction of a Campus Building for Chandrakot Campus at Shantipur VDC of Gulmi District

Indian Embassy and Chandrakot Campus, Shantipur VDC of Gulmi District signed a Memorandum of Understanding for construction of campus building as part of India–Nepal Cooperation Program of the Government of India. The campus building is sixth educational project supported by the Government of India in Gulmi district.

According to a press release issued by Indian Embassy, the project is being implemented by the District Development Committee, Gulmi at an estimated cost of NRs. 41.36 million. The present infrastructure is dilapidated and not sufficient to fulfill the needs of the Chandrakot Campus.

The new campus building and the furnishing will provide adequate classroom space and create an enhanced learning environment in the Shantipur VDC of the district by contributing to the development of education infra in the district. Apart from this, eleven ambulances have also been gifted by the Government of India in the district.
