Embassy of India in Kathmandu and B.P Koiraala India- Nepal Foundation organized the 26th edition of ‘Cinemandu’ on Wednesday, 18th May 2016 at Nepal-India Friendship library.

According to a press release issued by Indian Embassy, to mark the birth anniversary of Late Rabindranath Tagore, A short film directed by Satyajit ray, documentation important events in the life of Shri Tagore, was feature at the program.

The famous Nepalese filmmaker Prakash Sayami has graced the program by speaking about the life of Shri Tagore. Shri Sayami highlighted the work and contribution made by Tagore in the field of Indian literature and also his impact on Nepalese literature.

The program was attended by writers, poets, media persons, youths and students from Kathmandu.
