Police said the death toll reached six whereas 54 persons were injured. Bhima KC (55) from Kaskikot-6 of the district also succumbed to injuries during treatment, according to police.

Seriously injured four persons were airlifted to Capital for further treatment whereas others are being treated at health facilities in Pokhara, according to District Police Office reports THT Online.

Meanwhile, police arrested the bus driver Khil Bahadur Aale Magar of Udayapur for further investigation.
