Kobelco Launches SK 220 XDLC excavators Brand in Nepal

Pooja Construction Nepal Pvt. Ltd, the authorized importer of world famous KOBELCO brand of excavators launched of their latest generation of 21 tons class SK 220 XD in Nepal.

 Keeping in view the demanding working conditions of Nepal, this machine is designed for executing the jobs at extreme heavy duty conditions. It is the most powerful and productive machine in its category and regarded as the latest generation of excavator among the competition. The SK220XD is produced in factory in Sri City India derived from state-of-art Japanese technology.

Bibek Bijukchhe, CEO of Pooja Construction Nepal Pvt. Ltd. told that, ”Unlike other markets in the world, Excavators are used in road cutting and limestone quarry in Nepal where the breaker operation is required. With 70% of the past machines in Nepal working with breaker operation in these industries, the machine is regarded as powerful and highly productive.

”The retail price of SK220XD is kept at NRs 97 Lakhs and can be purchased from readily available stock. However, Pooja Construction Nepal Pvt. Ltd. allows individual companies to directly purchase the machines via LC from India guaranteeing smooth after sales service and parts. Though at premium pricing of 97 lakhs, the machine in long run is expected to save 12 lakhs per year in terms of saving in fuel consumption which is regarded as highest in its category.

The fuel savings primarily comes from consumption of 11-12 liters of diesel per hour of operation compared to 17-18 liters of diesel for other brand of machines. Apart from above, the SK220XD has the latest technical features with the superiority of Japanese technology ensuring the long life and trouble free operation. The core design of machine is based to ensure higher reliability, performance, comfort and easy maintenance.
