Nepalese Embassies Celebrate National Day

The Second Anniversary of the Constitution Day (National Day) of Nepal was celebrated by the Embassies in different parts of the world.

Embassy of Nepal, Bangkok organized a day in a grand manner. The Embassy organized a Reception and Virasakdi Futrakul, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, attended the program as the Chief Guest.

A large number of guests including high ranking Government Officials of the Royal Thai Government, members of the diplomatic corps in Bangkok, friends and well-wishers of Nepal from various walks of life, media representatives and Nepalese nationals attended the Reception.

Ambassador of Nepal in Bangkok Dr. Khaga Nath Adhikari highlighted Nepal's efforts for effective implementation of the Constitution of Nepal, including the adoption of many organic laws, recently held local-level elections, and the forthcoming state and federal-level elections. He also spoke about Nepal-Thailand relations.

The Embassy also utilized the occasion to promote Nepal's tourism, trade and culture. With the objective of promoting Nepal's tourism, large-framed photographs of main tourist destinations and banners were displayed in the hotel hallway.

Similarly, Nepalese Embassy in Brussels also organized a program to celebrate the national day. Nepalese Ambassador to Belgium, The Netherland, and Luxemburg (BENLU Lok Bahadur Thapa hosted a reception.

Attended by high-level officials from Belgium, Nepal lovers of Belgium and Nepalese Diasporas leaving in BENELUX countries attended the program. Likewise, Nepalese Embassy in Canada organized a program to mark the national day of Nepal. Ambassador Kali Prasad Rimal hosted a reception. Attended by high-level officials from Canada and Nepalese Diaspora, ambassador Rimal highlighted the importance of the day.

Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait also organized a program on Nepal’s National Day. Nepalese ambassador to Kuwait Yagya Bahadur Hamal hosted a reception. Attended by government officials and Nepalese leaving in Kuwait, ambassador Hamal highlighted the importance of the day.Nepali Embassy Kuwait.jpg
